Maletas!

Sabemos que estos días os hemos tenido un poco abandonadit@s, pero ahora mismo os explicaré el porque! Como ya os comentamos la semana pasada, el domingo 18 me volvía a nuestra querida y soleada España (pense que me libraría de las lluvias...pero no!! jajaj), el caso es que aún no se como, pero tenía que meter todos mis trastejos en 20 kg de maleta facturada y 10 de maleta de mano...IMPOSIBLE!! Tras muchas pruebas logísticas la decisión que tomé fue enviarme una cajita de 10kg por mensajería (la cual aún no ha llegado, cross fingeeeerrrrss!!!!!), pero, aun así me tuve que deshacer de varias cosillas :(, me dió penita, pero en realidad lo necesitaba como el comer!

Os dejo con las fotos del proceso y las pruebas logísticas, y os sigo contando!

We know that these days you've had been a bit abandoned, but right now I will explain why! As I discussed last week, on Sunday 18 I turned to our dear and sunny Spain (figured it would get rid of the rain ... but no! lol),  I don't know how yet , but I had to put all my stuff in 20 kg checked bag and 10 carry-on ... IMPOSSIBLE! after many logistic trials the decision I made was to send a box of 10kg by courier (which still has not arrived, cross fingeeeerrrrss!!), but anyway I had to get rid of several little things

Y este es el resultado final! así ..con las manos libres, como veis, me fui desde Cardiff hasta el pueblecito! Menos mal que allí descargué, aunque, aún así,al llegar al aeropuerto tuve problemillas, uno de ellos fueron los 23 kg de maleta facturada, resuelto en 2 min, peso final 22!! el segundo ya fue mas complicado y el que más me indignó. ¿Como es posible que una maleta rigida de mano, que cumple las medidas de sobra, de repente no entre en la caja de easy jet? Pues eso fue lo que paso, además yo sabía que por lo que no entraba era por un enchufe o algo picudo que sobresalía, pero las " amables" azafatas de Liverpool no me dejaron abrir la maleta para sacarlo, todo un detalle por su parte ( encima de tener que aguantar que casi me meta la pestaña postiza kilométrica por un ojo!!!!). desde luego cuando llegué a casa me acorde bastante de ellas, porque esto fue lo que me encontre en la maleta: 


And this is the final result! well .. "with my hands free", as you can see, I went from Cardiff to the village! luckily there I left some stuff, but anyway was really difficult get to the airport , one of the problems was the 23 kg checked bag, fixed in 2 min, final weight 22!! and the second was more complicated and the most outraged me. How can a handheld rigid suitcase that meets the measures to spare, don't suddenly come into the easy jet box? Well that's what happened, I knew it wasn't entered by a plug or something protrudingsnout, but the "nice" Liverpool attendants wouldn't let me open the bag to remove it. Of course when I got home I remembered enough of them, because this is what I found in the suitcase:

En fin... moraleja: no volar nunca más en Easy-jet ( hasta la próxima vez que sea el vuelo mas barato!)

Well... moral: do not fly anymore in Easy-jet (until the next time we will fly cheaper!)

POR FIN LLEGARON LOS REYES MAGOS!

Ya vienen los Reyes Magos...ya vienen los Reyes Magos, caminito de Belén, olé olé olé... holanda y olé... holanda ya se ve, ya se ve, ya se ve! Por fin llegó el día de Reyes! ya teníamos ganitas! Lo cierto es que a mi me llegaron hace un par de días por adelantado, porque tristemente hoy no estaré en España con mi familia para hacer el intercambio de regalitos, pero, que no cunda el pánico! Porque en Cardiff habrá día de reyes también, con mi estupenda minifamilia!

La verdad es que este año me he debido de portar muy bien, porque esperaba unos Reyes algo más light, pero al final me han sorprendido con un montón de cositas que ahora mismo os voy a enseñar!

(Spanish Christmas song) At last is the three King's day! The truth is that for me they came two days ago, because, unfortunately today I will not be in Spain with my family to do the gift exchange, but, don't panic, will be three King's day also in Cardiff with my great tiny family here!

The truth is that this year I have should had be a good girl, because I have more than I  expected, so they surprised me with a lot of little things that I´m going to show you in some seconds.

Una tableta gráfica (gracias primin!) que me va a venir muy bien (estoy trabajando de diseñadora gráfica e ilustradora) y un disco duro portatil! No es el rosa de mi wish list...pero es muy mono! Gracias C.! 

A graphics tablet (thanks cousin!) that I will be very usefull for me (I'm working as a graphic designer and illustrator) and a portable hard disk! It's not the pink of my wish list ... but it's very cute! Thank you C.!

 Dos lotes de colonia que me encantan! La primera es Viva la Juicy, de Juicy Couture. Aparte de que el frasco es una monada, huele genial, y es de las típicas fragancias que aunque lleves todo el día danzando, siempre hay alguien que por la noche te dice, "¡qué bien hueles!, ¿qué colonia llevas?"!

Y la segunda es L'eau de Carolina Herrera. Una fragancia super fresquita que puedes utilizar en cualquier momento. (GRACIAS A MI MAMA Y A LA DE C. TAMBIÉN!)

Two perfum packs that I really love! The first one is Viva la Juicy, from Juicy Couture. apart from the lovely jar, smells great and its one of this typical fragances that when you spend in a busy way, there is someone always at night that say you, "that smell good, what perfum do you wear?"!

And the second one is L'eau de Carolina Herrera. A fresh fragance you can use at any time. ( THANKS TO MY MOM AND C.´S MOM ALSO!)

Una bolsita para los viajes (que en mi caso son bastantes!). Me la ha hecho a mano la madre de C., y me encanta!

Una maleta de cabina rosa! Es monísima! Ya la he estrenado para venir! Alguna de vosotras ya la pudisteis ver en Twitter ayer mientras esperaba 5 horas en Barajas!

A pink cabin suitcase! its so cute! I used ir for first yesterday to come back here! Some of you could see it on twitter while I was waiting in Barajas during 5 hours!

¿Y que me decís de este colgante y estos mitones? Me encantan! Y además sé a ciencia cierta que son de una tienda estupenda de Valladolid! Cuando vuelva os la enseño!

What a disaster!!

Hola! por fin, después de dos meses esperando, este es mi primer post desde england!!Good for me! La verdad es que ente pueblecin no va muy rapido internet, pero intentare contaros como han sido los dias previos y como hice para no pagar

sobrepeso por el equipaje, ya que 20 kg para 4 meses no dan para mucho, tendre que volver cargada en navidad!!

hello! finally, after two months waiting, this is my first post from England!GOOD FOR ME! the network in this village is not very good, but i'm try to tell you how was the days before of my trip and how i prepared my laugage, because 20 kg for 4 months its not enough, so i'll have to go back with a new suitcase on chritsmas holidays.

Este era el aspecto que tenía mi cama dos dias antes de salir de España. Como podeis ver, hay toda una amalgama de ropa y demás enseres que tenia que meter en la maleta y no sabia como. La mejor opción que pude tomar en ese momento fue salir de casa e ir a los chinos del barrio, donde me esperaban dos preciosas bolsas de plastico para envasar al vacío la ropa!!son fantásticas! os la recomiendo a todas! eso si...tened una buena pla

ncha a mano a la hora de sacar las cosas, por sale un poco arrugadillo.

This is the way he looked my bed two days before leaving spain. As you can see, there are a mix of clothes and other belonging that i had to pack in the suitcase and did not know how. The best choice i couLd make at that time was leave home and go to the chinese quarter shop, where I bought two beautiful plastic bags for vacuum packing clothes! are fantastic!I recommend it!! but...have a good iron hand out!

Esta es la parte que mas pena me da...no he podido meter ni la mitad de calzado que quisiera! :( sniff sniff no había manera de meterlo, y las bolsas de las que antes he hablado no sirven para calzado, porque ocupa lo mismo. Creo que voy a llamar a casa para que me preparen una caja llena de tacones!aunque otra opción será...COMPRARMELOS AQUI!!ajjajaja...alguno caerá!

Y mis UGG!!con lo calentitas que son...pero tenía que elegir entre las botas de agua o las UGG...y tenendo en cuenta q aqui aunque no llueva esta todo mojado.

...pero...que no cunda el panico!!en navidad vendrán conmigo!

This is the worst part for me... I couldnt get even half of shoes I wanted! (sniff sniff) but..not way to get him, and bags which I have spoken before dont work for shoes, because it occupies the same. I think I'll call home to prepare me a box full of high heels! although, another option is...BUY IT HERE! ahhahaha

And my Ugg boots...so hot they are...but I had to choose between rain boots or Ugg boots... ...but... NOT PANIC!! at Christmas they will come back with me!!

Y por ultimo los bolsos....que depresion...solo me he podido traer tres clutch y dos bolsos un poco mas grandes, así que tendre que comprar alguno aqui...que pena me da... jajajaja!!

And finally .... bags ... I could only bring three clutch and two bags a bit bigger, so I'll have to buy one here ... that gives me grief ... hahahaha!!

as dos semanas y la casa donde vivo! y por supuesto...un pasillo genial que hemos descubierto en los supermercados Tesco..que para los que no los conoceis, son como los carrefour en españa mas o menos.

I leave you for today! and next day return with new things to tell you, possibly the town where I'll be two weeks and the house where I live! and of course ... a great hall we discovered in Tesco supermarkets, as for those who do not know, are like Carrefour in Spain,more or less.
